Richard's highest profile work to date is 'Red Arrows,' a book of documentary, landscape and irony about the RAF aerobatic team. It's therefore no surprise that he has a boyish interest in the aesthetics of aviation.
He is currently collaborating with the writer Alain de Botton on a project to be published in early 2009. A lightbox of material will be appearing soon at DRR.
The main collection represents a very small part of the film-originated pictures from the vaults of the IPG/Katz Pictures agencies. Since the beginning of 2007 he has been increasing the flow of digital media and scans from older work which has been uploaded directly to DRR, Corbis and Alamy. Various projects and new single images have also been submitted to Marketplace.
