I am an English photographer in London whose projects and assignments appear in books, magazines and company image collections though perhaps best-known for 'Red Arrows', a reportage about Britain's Royal Air Force aerobatic team (Dalton Watson, 2005) - plus my collaborations with Alain de Botton on 'The Pleasures and Sorrows of Work' (Hamish Hamilton, 2009) 'A Week at the Airport: A Heathrow Diary' and 'Risk Wise' (both with Profile Books, 2009 and 2015).

I have been exhibiting my photography from those books while working on a collection of personal reportage projects. The theatrical spontaneity of Street Photography is foremost in my mind.

Otherwise, my personal quests follow geographical or merely themes on the incongruous and the everyday, while always having more than a passing thought for the aesthetics of aviation, industry and urban landscape.

I also write stories about the wider world through a personal blog - tweet at @bakerpictures and share on Instagram
